The mysterious figure shows up late today, hurrying through the main gate to their box. Nodding to the coach, the visitor rushes past and up the stairs. Halfway up the stranger stumbles, and one of the workers swears he saw a distinctly feminine leg for a moment, before the robed figure recovered and went on.

Dihenydd leaned back on his custom chair, and let out slow cigar smoke rings float to the ceiling. He lifted his ironshod boots and placed them on the corner of Grish... no wait, HIS new desk!

"All in all, it worked out just peachy for us, eh Tom?"

Tom grunted something sounded like an affirmative. He wasn't about the spoil the goodwill emanating from the Boss. Nevermind he just had to spend the last 4 days cleaning out the remains of Grish's old hidey hole. Found a few choice bits for the Boss including this new oak desk, and a couple for himself in the detritus left behind by the Goblin merchant and his cronies. He just wished The Cloak would stop staring at him that way...

"Sure a lot of people get killed, but people get killed all the time. The only shame is when people get killed and no one makes any cash on the deal. Scratch that, when I don't make any cash on the deal. Now dat we gots the stadium all up with Grish's help, and all the papers in hand, we are gonna make lots of dough on watching heads get crunched in."

"Cloak, you did good work there too. Dunno what I'd do withouts ya! Dat's why you gets to be called da new 'Admisinter o de Speshul Projects!'." The cloak merely bowed accent and resumed his/its/her stare at Tom.

Tom's forehead started to wrinkle a bit. Was it just him or did the Boss seem to be changing his speech, sounding far too much like that sneaky-git goblin they were dealing with before.

"Oui oui! And den, we weel play de boths side ta da meedle," Dihenydd droned on, "We secured da stadium, but we do da bigs profits on de side wid de betting and de sneaky-git stuff." He took one last puff on the last of his cigar, placed his hands behind his head and slowly fell asleep.

Tom watched his boss snooze with some trepidation. "Just what the heck was in those cigars he got from Grish anyways?" he asked Cloak. Cloak shook his/its head back. "Whatever, I guess. So long as doesn't start eating that same stinky cheese we found in Grish's larder'.

Tom looked out the window and suddenly realized it was almost game time! There was no way he was going to miss this final comuppance for those damn minor nobility Bloodbowlers "Vipers of Valour" indeed. Let's see just how Valourous they are with all their junk hanging out and 11 bloodthirsty Amazons on the other side of the field. Should be a good game!
