An idea we blatantly stole form the very succesful Animosity campaigns, you or your faction can contact influential people in and around Nez to help further the faction's goal, or a personal agenda.
Each figurehead has their own goals and personality. You can read up on them on the campaign site, which I advise you to do! The campaign is perfectly enjoyable without ever contacting figureheads, but they do add a whole different dimension to the game.
There are two ways of contacting them;
1) Faction diplomacy. You can write letters to figureheads via the relevant thread in your faction forum. Note that this is only for contacting the figureheads for faction business- individual letters will be ignored. It is often a good idea to assign faction members to the role of faction diplomat. The faction may send a total of three letters per turn (replies included!).
2) Individual diplomacy. This is done by pm. If you have a personal agenda you wish to follow, then you can contact a figurehead to help you out. You'll have to convince them though! You may send one letter per turn (replies included!). Note that individual diplomacy is NOT meant to help your faction in any way, shape or form! Think of it more as a way to achieve your own fluff goals.
The figureheads are played by the GMs. We've divided them among us in case you want to start individual diplomacy with them;
-Tristan de Valle: NewGuy
-Theodore Chatin: Tarlen da Foeburna
-Luc: Dunrik Ironhammer
-Grish Toebita and Warmonger: DemonSlayer
